Pictures From August Events!

Sunday, August 19th, Clark County Conservation Club held their annual Kids Day festival
on the Club's grounds.  We were invited to present a wildlife exhibit and educational
demonstration.  The kids had a good time checking out the Red Tail Hawk, Barred Owl,
Wallaby, and the baby Raccoon.    Thank you to the Club for inviting us!

CHECK BACK SOON......MORE PICTURES TO COME!!

Tim showing the baby Wallaby to
members of the Conservation Club.

Donna Law (volunteer for the day) held a baby raccoon for all to get a closer look.

The Barred Owl was not too happy when the Wallaby got too close.  This is what is known as "manteling."  An owl will do this to discourage predators and also to guard over their food.

A Red Tail Hawk

Johanna Dickens - a visitor to the exhibit, held the baby raccoon.

Tim held the baby wallaby so that one of the children could
get a closer look and feel its soft fur.
